Tambi\u00e9n supervis\u00f3 el inicio de la construcci\u00f3n de dos de las 15 Estaciones Seguras proyectadas para la regi\u00f3n fronteriza. Acompa\u00f1ado por alcaldes de varios municipios y autoridades de distintos niveles, encabez\u00f3 la Mesa para la Construcci\u00f3n de la Paz Tamaulipas.
