Durante el primer semestre de 2025, la Biblioteca Itinerante del Gobierno Municipal de Nuevo Laredo benefici\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 5 mil ni\u00f1os y adolescentes al promover el h\u00e1bito de la lectura en 15 primarias, 7 preescolares y una preparatoria. Este programa, encabezado por la alcaldesa Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal, busca fomentar el desarrollo educativo mediante actividades como cuentacuentos, lectura en voz alta, sorteos de libros y talleres de creatividad. Adem\u00e1s de las escuelas, la Biblioteca Itinerante visit\u00f3 espacios p\u00fablicos y programas sociales como IMJUVE y el DIF.
