El Gobierno Municipal de Ciudad Madero, en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Procuradur\u00eda Federal de Protecci\u00f3n al Ambiente (PROFEPA) y la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de \u00c1reas Naturales Protegidas (CONANP), ha tomado medidas para preservar las dunas y zonas certificadas de Playa Miramar. Esto tras la intervenci\u00f3n de maquinaria pesada por parte de un particular en una zona protegida, poniendo en riesgo el ecosistema y las \u00e1reas de anidaci\u00f3n de tortugas marinas.<\/p>\n

El presidente municipal, Erasmo Gonz\u00e1lez Robledo, enfatiz\u00f3 que ninguna persona est\u00e1 por encima de la ley en lo que respecta a la protecci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas costeros y las \u00e1reas de playa. Se asegur\u00f3 una retroexcavadora utilizada para extraer arena en una duna protegida y en zona de playa certificada, donde recientemente se hab\u00eda registrado actividad de desove de tortugas.<\/p>\n
