El gobernador de Tamaulipas, Am\u00e9rico Villarreal Anaya, junto al secretario de Recursos Hidr\u00e1ulicos, Ra\u00fal Quiroga \u00c1lvarez, respald\u00f3 el cambio de modelo para el uso, distribuci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n del agua propuesto por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, con el objetivo de terminar con la privatizaci\u00f3n del recurso. Villarreal destac\u00f3 el compromiso del gobierno estatal para cumplir con el Acuerdo Nacional por el Derecho Humano al Agua y la Sustentabilidad, y revertir la visi\u00f3n neoliberal que trata el agua como una mercanc\u00eda en lugar de un derecho humano. El mandatario enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de garantizar que el agua sea verdaderamente de la naci\u00f3n, priorizando el consumo humano y su distribuci\u00f3n equitativa para el desarrollo nacional.
