La alcaldesa de Nuevo Laredo, Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal, destac\u00f3 los avances logrados en la ciudad gracias a la visi\u00f3n humanista del gobernador Am\u00e9rico Villarreal Anaya, reflejados en obras p\u00fablicas, desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y bienestar social. Tras el Tercer Informe de Gobierno del mandatario estatal, Canturosas resalt\u00f3 que la colaboraci\u00f3n entre ambos niveles de gobierno ha permitido concretar proyectos clave, como la inauguraci\u00f3n del Segundo Puente Ferroviario Internacional, que consolida a Nuevo Laredo como el puerto terrestre m\u00e1s importante de Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n
Tambi\u00e9n mencion\u00f3 la llegada de nuevas inversiones, como la planta industrial de Medline, que con una inversi\u00f3n de 250 millones de d\u00f3lares generar\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 3 mil empleos directos, fortaleciendo la econom\u00eda local. Adem\u00e1s, subray\u00f3 la inversi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 429 millones de pesos en la modernizaci\u00f3n urbana y vialidades de la ciudad, as\u00ed como la consolidaci\u00f3n de Nuevo Laredo como la principal frontera para el cruce de paisanos, gracias a la coordinaci\u00f3n con los tres niveles de gobierno.<\/p>\n
