Este s\u00e1bado arranc\u00f3 la Jornada de Reforestaci\u00f3n Masiva \u201cSembrando la Semilla de la Esperanza\u201d, promovida por el Gobierno Municipal de Nuevo Laredo, bajo la direcci\u00f3n de la presidenta municipal Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal. La iniciativa tiene como prop\u00f3sito plantar m\u00e1s de 3 mil \u00e1rboles en la ciudad para fomentar la conservaci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La Coordinadora General de Gesti\u00f3n Ambiental Municipal, Tania Taboada Blanco, destac\u00f3 que la jornada tambi\u00e9n incluye la limpieza de \u00e1reas verdes y la sensibilizaci\u00f3n de los vecinos sobre el cuidado de los \u00e1rboles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En esta primera jornada, que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el parque de la colonia Villas de San Miguel, se sembraron 31 \u00e1rboles de especies resistentes al clima local como encino, mezquite y \u00e9bano. Para asegurar su crecimiento, se implement\u00f3 el uso de hidrogel, una tecnolog\u00eda que retiene la humedad en las ra\u00edces, permitiendo su desarrollo saludable hasta por nueve a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La campa\u00f1a cuenta con el apoyo de Arca Continental (Coca-Cola) y se extender\u00e1 por cinco meses para aprovechar las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas favorables.
