Este evento, impulsado por el gobernador Am\u00e9rico Villarreal Anaya, busca promover el deporte y fortalecer el turismo en la regi\u00f3n, estimando una derrama econ\u00f3mica de 7 millones de pesos. Se espera la participaci\u00f3n de 400 jugadores en 11 categor\u00edas, provenientes de estados como Nuevo Le\u00f3n, Coahuila, San Luis Potos\u00ed, y del Valle de Texas.
