Durante la administraci\u00f3n 2021-2024, el gobierno de Nuevo Laredo, liderado por Carmen Lilia Canturosas, se destac\u00f3 por su apoyo a la educaci\u00f3n, cultura y deporte. Se otorgaron m\u00e1s de 40 mil becas a estudiantes de primaria y secundaria, invirtiendo 196 millones de pesos. Adem\u00e1s, se distribuyeron mochilas, uniformes y transporte escolar con una inversi\u00f3n de 183 millones. En el \u00e1mbito deportivo, se otorgaron 472 becas a atletas locales y se invirtieron 12 millones de pesos en infraestructura y apoyo log\u00edstico. Tambi\u00e9n se brindaron becas culturales para que artistas representaran a Nuevo Laredo en competencias nacionales e internacionales.
