La Federaci\u00f3n M\u00e9dica Mexicana de Audiolog\u00eda, Otoneurolog\u00eda y Foniatr\u00eda reconoci\u00f3 al Gobierno Municipal de Nuevo Laredo por ser el \u00fanico en el pa\u00eds que ofrece gratuitamente ex\u00e1menes para detectar problemas auditivos. Durante el Primer Congreso de la federaci\u00f3n en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, la doctora Lilia Arjona Barocio, secretaria de Bienestar, destac\u00f3 las pol\u00edticas de salud implementadas por la administraci\u00f3n municipal bajo el liderazgo de la presidenta Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal, enfocadas en los Potenciales Evocados Auditivos (PEA). Este programa, \u00fanico en la Cl\u00ednica UNE Carlos Cant\u00fa Rosas, ha beneficiado a 22 personas desde marzo de 2024. El estudio PEA es un procedimiento neurol\u00f3gico no invasivo que mide la respuesta el\u00e9ctrica del cerebro ante est\u00edmulos auditivos y es \u00fatil para diagnosticar diversas condiciones auditivas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
